Roderick Chia is an Innovator, Entrepreneur and Educator, with extensive experience across multiple senior positions including VP, CTO, CSO and CEO, in multiple companies. With numerous award wins and nominations, he has had a monumental impact everywhere he has been.
He was a graduate of Nanyang Technological University(NTU) and currently an Adjunct Faculty for its School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering as well as NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur). Concurrently, he has led strategic and technological endeavours for various companies, as well as founding his own investment management company rodVENTURE. He is also the co-inventor of various patented technology and been awarded with Tan Kah Kee Young Inventors’ Award for 5 times.
Roderick is a true believer in innovation and pioneering the thinking of the idea of “Innovation between-two-boxes”. It is his passion for finding solutions to overcome real world constraints that drives him, and is the focus of his approach as an educator at NTU. This is true also for his role as a prospective investor.
